GRIFID HOTELS is an award-winning Bulgarian hotel chain managing seven hotels in Golden Sands resort and well known for its standards of high quality service and level of guest satisfaction.

In our strategy for further growth we are looking for an experienced hospitality professional to join our team in the position of HOTEL MANAGER in the Hotel Management Company Ltd.

* Proactively guide and direct the entire team to ensure consistency of brand standards and a high level of performance and service delivery.
* Planning, organizing, directing and coordinating hotel personnel in Front Office, Housekeeping, Entertainment, Maintenance and Support departments through the management of department heads;
* Controlling the performance of departments in charge, taking decisions and making corrective actions when necessary to ensure impeccable service and quality performance;
* Recruiting, motivating, and developing staff;
* Establishing and maintaining employee relations, including regular department head meetings to ensure excellent teamwork and productivity;
* Ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction including resolving guests’ issues and compliance with quality and operational standards;
* Implementing the hotel’s plan and budget to ensure on an on-going basis optimum total guest satisfaction, sales potential and profitability.
* Manage operational expenses to stay within budget guidelines, as well as gather and report financial information to the Executive Director and Owner;
* Analyzing established goals and objectives compared to actual results and implementing recommendations to achieve projected goals;
* Evaluating changes in guest needs, the guest mix and competitive set, to recommend appropriate product/service and operational changes as necessary;
* Maintaining communication with the respective administrative services related to hotel business and ensuring compliance with the health and safety regulations;

We are looking for an energetic hospitality professional meeting the following criteria:
* Have the ability to innovate and problem solve, transform both qualitative and quantitative data into actionable reports, plan and implement new initiatives that drive revenue;
* 3 or more years of management experience in an upscale hotel;
* Excellent English and German language – written and spoken, knowledge of French language is a plus;
* Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field is preferred.
* Strong decision making skills;
* Excellent organizational skills;
* Must perform well under stress and be adaptable to the dynamic environment of the hospitality industry.
